Ok, I just wanna point out a few things that I noticed while watching this video. Besides Lady Gaga getting stripped naked during the first minute and a half I noticed a lot of product placements like Diet Coke, Polaroid, Virgin Mobile, Miracle Whip and even Honey Buns. With all those product placements you wonder if this is art or just a commercial and a few big checks for Lady Gaga??? The song is called “Telephone” so I understand the Virgin Mobile product placement but everything else was completely unnecessary for the song.
The multiple number of product placements is what brings me to my second observation. I now understand why the video was so long. She had to put together a video long enough to add in all those obvious endorsements. How else would anyone fit 5 different advertisements into one video???? You would have to make it longer then usual so ppl would still look at it as a video and at the same time throw in those paid advertisements. I don’t blame the advertisers I just look at Lady Gaga a little different now, not that I didn’t look at her different in the first place. Lady Gaga is very Avante Garde but now she’s looking kinda corny throwing in all those ads like that. Get your money Gaga but don’t get exploited that damn much. Whens the last time you really ate a Honey Bun?
A couple other things I noticed that really caught my attention were the burning cigarette glasses and the Diet Coke Hair rollers. All I can say is wow!
